Minister's Comment

Dr. Sam Egwu -Minister of Education
  • One of the major areas of this administration is the use of education to uplift the quality of life of the citizenry. To this end, Federal Ministry of Education has amongst its 4-Point focus "Access and Equity" which is aimed at fast tracking the achievement of Mr. President's 7-point agenda; Vision 20:2020, Education For All (EFA) and the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
  • Open Distance learning (ODL), which is cost effective and flexible means of achieving some of our noble goals in Education, will serve the required purposes and a tool of mass education.
