Recently, Nigeria accepted the offer made by the African Council of Distance Education, (ACDE) to establish its Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency for the Africa in Abuja, Nigeria. This continental body for Africa Higher Education Institution has become imperatibe considering the fact that acceptable quality in the educational dispensation in Africa cannot be compromised. This will also encourage partnership and collaboration in ODL among African nations.
